Day 625 - Feb 13, 2010

I don't think I explained myself very well when I said the docs sent us home until Tuesday; what I meant was that we are at Breezy's and that we weren't kept at the hospital. They had planned to admit Kevin when we arrived, but they didn't feel it was necessary once they saw how well he was doing.

So we are still in Texas and will be until at least next week. Maybe much longer, who knows.

And Kevin and I didn't really do anything today. We both slept until really late in the day, probably because we were so tired after yesterday.

But here is the picture I took of Kev in the plane. You can just see how excited he was, huh?

He sure loved that flight, lol.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Enjoy being with your daughter too. I try to stay up at night to read your post and cannot. You must post at 4 or 5 a.m. each morning most nights from home in Florida. I wish I could stay awake that long. Sorry but I have to wake up in the morning and cannot sleep late.

In the beginning, it was nice when you posted earlier so we could read it before we went to bed. It must be hard to stay up so late.

I bet you never thought you would get to spend Valentine's Day with your two loves. It is nice Breezy is there where Kevin needs treated. I hope you three get to do something special. Have a really nice day and I hope they can finally get Kevin some answers in Texas.

I thought these Texas doctors wanted Kevin there IMMEDIATELY several weeks ago because of a potential problem with leakage and infection.

Now that there's a reason to believe he MAY be having these issues, and you've gone to the trouble of getting him special transportation to get him there, they send him home (to Breezy's) for the weekend "once they saw how well he was doing."

God bless you for being able to keep your sanity under these conditions. The uncertainty of all this stuff makes my head spin, and I'm just a daily reader!

Nice ride!

Sounds like you're in limbo for a while. A hurry up and wait deal.

Good to read you're staying with Breezy for the time being.

Thinking of you all.
