Day 488 - Sep 29, 2009

Things are getting a little better. We are still in the hospital, but the pain is becoming more manageable. The docs think that a staple may have hit a nerve, so they removed a couple from the area where the pain was. He is still hurting, just not as much.

We have reworked his pain medications though, and that could be helping too.

Anyway, we are hoping to go home tomorrow (to the guesthouse), but I need to feel comfortable with his pain level first. We shall see...

And now I am signing off as I am using my phone and I really stink at typing on this thing.

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts everyone!

I'm glad to hear that the pain is getting under control. The scalp has so many nerves, so I can only imagine what Kevin must be going through. Hope he's feeling well enough to be released tomorrow.

Thanks for the update! I'll keep Kevin in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family, and that they found the problem of the pain Kevin has! Keep on doing as you are, and things will get better.

crossing fingers and toes that the staple was the culprit and that things continue to improve.

Sure hope staple removal is the solution and Kevin starts feeling better. Hang tough. Keeping all of you in thoughts and prayers.

As LisaD said I'm crossing my fingers and toes (and anything else that crosses!) that the staple was the cause and that you're back on the road to feeling better! Still sending loads of prayers, and even bigger loads of extra special Angel Hugs. Hope today is a good day for you all.

Leslie,

Sorry I haven't written but been very busy because we had 20 condo's flood out along with our club house from the flash flood that happened here in the Austell [about 60% of our small city under water] and a total of 17 counties here in Georgia.
Being on the Board of Directors is a very diffulcult job right now because we've NEVER handled this type of stuff before. The disaster team we got for the club house has been a fountain of info which they have gladly shared.

Now for Kevin I have been able to read your words of worry and at time joy. The worry gets thoughts of "PLEASE, let it be a good fix." and "PLEASE, let it be something simple and quick." as I rush from problem to problem.

Thoughts and Pleas are never far from my lips even in our troubles.
Take care of yourself and tell Breezy to make certain that her health is care for also.

Got to run...Problems are already calling...

Miss Em
Austell, Ga.
