Day 815 - Aug 22, 2010

Well, we are all ready to head to the hospital tomorrow. Everything is all packed and we are both emotionally psyched for it.

As for today, I didn't do anything, but Breezy and Kevin went to Walmart after dinner. Mary Neal - I had to laugh at your comment because you have it all wrong - if you ask anyone that knows me they will tell you that I DESPISE shopping! Kevin, on the other hand absolutely loves it!

I was so glad to just be able to stay home for a bit and get the kitchen cleaned uninterrupted.

So anyway, that's really about all I have to say tonight. It was a nice, boring weekend - exactly what was needed before major surgery and a gosh knows how long hospital stay...

We're thinking of you! Glad you had a relaxing weekend. We continue to keep all of you in our prayers. It's hard to believe it's almost time for surgery. I can't wait to Kevin to feel better.
Take good care,

Thinking of you all, and looking into a trial-version of that software while y'all are doing the improvement dance. Sorry it took me so long to answer your reply ... 25th grad reunion on the weekend -- wow! 25 years!!!

Anyway, my mom is okay for the time being (thanks for asking), we figure she's been o2 deprived for such a long time that maybe some of her imbalance issues (depression, anger) were caused by that. Retrospect, eh? She's feeling quite fine and now is permanently on o2 at home and tanks while out. We'll see what the future holds as it reveals itself to us. Luckily, my sisters and I have the same philosophy of taking things as they come and communicating as best we can and accepting each other wherever each is at. I am so incredibly lucky that way.

Of course, because I'll be looking into the software for you this week, I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
