I made it safe and sound to my mom and dad's house (our house too) and got the car all loaded and packed to leave in the morning. It is so nice being with my parents, but wow - has my dad lost a lot of weight. I worry so...and really hate being away...
So they are hoping to come visit us soon and I hope they can. I'm not sure when dad starts his next round of chemo so I guess we need to wait and see about that.
And after reading last night's post again - did anyone catch that I spelled brakes wrong? Geez...I must have been more tired than I thought, lol.
Ok, I am signing off early and getting to bed. I have a long couple days ahead of me...

Ha ha. I must be sleep deprived too because I am the (Canadian) spelling freak (former copyeditor) and I *never noticed*!
Enjoy your drive. Enjoy that time to yourself. (I love time to myself and I only get it late at night, which I know is better than what you have most days so ... use that drive wisely, eh?!)
Funny how I, a stranger far away, can get so excited about alone time you are going to have.
Safe travels, Leslie.
Leslie, Have a good trip back to Texas...Be safe...God Speed!!!
Nope, I never noticed. Hah, usually I pride myself in finding those mistakes. Ah well, ....we are not perfect!
Praying for safe travel today...for your Dad, and Breezy and Kevin.

Hi Leslie,
I don't say anything about mis-spellings because I make those same mistakes and hope someone is nice enough to not bring it to everyone's attention.
Remember to take extra care in driving because "White Line Fever" can and does put you to sleep so if you are tired pull over and take a break.
Enjoy your Non-head banger music and the alone time for it will be all to short.
Miss Em
