Day 959 - Jan 13, 2011

Wow! What a day!

So Kevin stood behind the doctor and watched Christian enter the world. I know that Chris was a little freaked out by this, but I told him we are part of the medical world and body parts are body parts and nothing more to the three of us nowadays.

Truthfully though, what an experience! I have to admit that three years ago I would have fainted seeing all that blood and yuk, but I am a lot different person now than I was then. And I can pretty much guarantee that Kevin would have never wanted to see his sister's privates, but we sure have all changed.

Oh and before I forget - Christian is 20 1/2 inches long.

So anyway, here are some photos:

And one of my favorites - this is Kevin and Breezy both crying over the miracle of Christian's birth:

Kevin did amazing! Breezy did amazing! I am just so dang proud of my children!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hmmmm...how far the family has come in 959 days. WE never thought that Kevin would manage so many splendid things, nor at the time, that Breezy would have somewhat a life of her own, not to mention a son! How darn exciting!!! I am beaming and so, so happy for your family. May the good things keep happening and may Kevin's recovery just keep on going strong.
Thoughts, prayers for you all,
Hallie

I add my congratulations to the rest, on this long anticipated addition to your family. He is truly a precious thing isn't he? Glad everything went ok, and that all were able to experience the miracle of childbirth.
I'm just ecstatic for you all. One day Christian will know how much his birth meant to you guys, and thanks for sharing it today with all of us.
Extra hugs and kisses to Christian,
Anita

The pictures made me cry too, especially of Breezy and Kevin crying. Mother and child looking into each others face was a very moving picture too. They were all so good. Who would have thought 959 days ago that Kevin would be "birthing babies"...oh my. What a wonderful experience for everyone and God Bless Chris for having the family included at Christian's birth. Congrats to one and all. He is a beautiful baby.
