Day 963 - Jan 17, 2011

We had a busy day today. First we went to therapy for a little PT and then we headed to Breezy's house to babysit so that she could run to the grocery store. At one point Christian started crying and I told Kevin to sing to him so he started singing Bohemian Rhapsody (the song he sang in the video a couple of weeks ago - yes...a very odd choice, lol). Christian loved it. He immediately got quiet and fell asleep pretty quickly after that.

Kevin is just utterly and completely enthralled by the little one. I guess you could say that I am too, lol.

After that, we quickly grabbed a sandwich for dinner and then went to Walmart to grab a few groceries.

A boring day to read about, I'm sure.

not boring at all. i can just picture Kevin singing to Christian and it brought a very large smile to my face. That's the thing about your posts; you probably think they are just routine, maybe even mundane, but when you describe something, I can picture it and that always causes some type of emotion.
Enjoy that little boy. Maybe this is the best therapy Kevin will ever get :)
Thoughts and prayers,
Hallie

I agree not boring at all! After all your family has been through, it warms even a stranger's heart to see what joy this little babe has brought you all! God Bless!

Hello Leslie, Kevin and the entire family,

I don't comment as much as I use to but NEVER miss a day of reading how things are going with the progresses of Kevin's battle for a normal life.

Young Christian will bring about a difference in Kevin's attitude and willingness in his recovery that was not there before...because now...he understands in a way that he may not have before that he "needs to get better".

Love...HUGS...and Kisses to all.

Miss Em
