Real Quick

I just want to seriously thank all of you for all of the support you have shown! The blog has been very therapeutic for me, but the comments and the outward show of love and caring keeps myself and Breezy going every day! We both can't wait for the day that Kev can be sitting here and reading all of the comments left by our friends and family, as well as the complete strangers that have found their way to this site.

I do want to particularly thank the online community of ScrapMuse - they have all been wonderful to us! And the girls at work - couldn't do it without calling y'all and totally breaking down during every phone call!

And to the town of EB? Y'all know that I moved to But. last year, but my home and my heart will always be in EB. Moe and Tracy have been telling me things that y'all are doing and although it's very hard for me to accept any type of help - I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! You guys rock and I will never forget it!

My little family loves you all!
Leslie, Breezy and Kevin.

Leslie,

Hi, this is Trish, one of your old classmates and mother of one of Kevin's skateboarding buddies (Cory)from Indiana, PA. First of all, I am so saddened that Kevin, you and your family are going through this. I have been reading your blog first thing every morning to get an update on Kevin's condition. I admire your strength, as trying as it may be.(although what Mother wouldn't have for their children) and I pray that God continue to give you the strength and support you and your family so desparetly need right now. Kevin spent a lot of time at my house the summer before I moved down here. He, Anthony, Ray and Cory used my place to "crash" and "hangout" after skateboarding Indiana all day....and night. He is a wonderful young man. I just wanted you to know that I now live in El Campo, TX which is about 1 1/2 hours away from where you are. I am willing to help you out in any way you need. I would really like to talk to you if you wouldn't mind. Could you please email me your phone number to trish630@hotmail.com.
God has a plan for Kevin and as hard as it may seem, we just need to have faith that God's will is at work and that he is in total control. I will continue to keep you all in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. All to often stories get twisted out of whack when repeated and this way we are getting it first hand. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

All my love,

Trish "Yanity" Chandler

Leslie & Breezy,
I just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about the two of you and Kevin. Alot of people have been asking me about him, I guess because he worked at the store. Kevin is a very tough kid and I have to believe that he will make it through all of this. I wish you weren't so far away because you need your friends, family and community close right now. I hope Moe's visit gives you some strength. I hope we see you and Kevin soon. Take care.

Leslie, I just want you to know that Kevin's Aunts, Uncles and cousins are praying for not only him but your whole family. Kevin is on so very many prayer lists all over the USA. Our entire family has requested prayers for him. We know that Jesus will hold Kevin very close to his heart as he does with all of us. We want you to know that we love you all. We really appreciate your blog to keep us informed on a daily basis. Love to all. Kevin's Great Aunt Judy

Hello Leslie and Breezy,
I had Kevin in my sixth grade class and am so saddened by this news. I have been reading your daily updates and your strength and courage is amazing. I just want to let you know that the teachers at Sugarcreek Elementary are praying and hoping for the best. We know Kevin is a fighter and we send you our support and prayers. I personally remember his Talent Show "breakdance" and his wonderful sense of humor and his determination. I pray for his recovery. God Bless You.

Dear Leslie,
My heart goes out to you and yours. I thank you for raising a son who thought it important to serve his country and fellow man. I thank your son for placing himself in harms way. I thank God that you have each other and it is my fervent prayer that this will continue to be as you wish. I pray that God give you both the strength to fight the odds and get back to each other and to all your family and friends. I pray that God guide and keep the doctors, nurses, and all the staff at their greatest abilities so they may continue to give excellent care to your dear son.
Thank you so much for your sacrifices. I wish I could do more than this, but please know I mean every word. Thank you, thank you!
Hugs,
Liv
