FINALLY!!! Today a young skater punk arrived at our door to spend the day with Kevin!
And let me tell you - I never heard a peep out of either one of them for 5 whole hours! They got along famously, played the same games, watched the same movies and Johnny even met the band Atreyu back when they were nobody. Kevin was ecstatic and it made my heart just sing!
I was able to get my scraproom cleaned (it's been the catch-all room up til now) and I made a nice dinner for all 5 of us (Breezy and Chris came over too).
And that pretty much sums up our day. I have a bit of a headache again so my thoughts are a bit scattered tonight. I think I'm just going to sign off early...

Glad to hear Johnny was a hit with Kevin. How is Breezy's pregnancy coming along? Thoughts and prayers are with all of you....
Ou you sure the skater punk was from the agency or a person off the street that was looking for a meal. lol Happy to hear hope it works out for the 2 of them. Lorraine
Hello Leslie & Kevin
It's wonderful to hear that Kevin may have finially ment a "kindred sprit".
Keeping fingers crossed that Johnny can be the one that stays.
How is the Breezy, Chris and the "Wee-One"? Hope the "Wee-One" hasn't been making her deal with 'morning sickness' too much.
??? Do you think Breezy would let Kevin come to one of the ultra-sounds to "see" his new niece/nephew. It would be interesting for all of you to see his reaction to what he would be seeing on the screen.

Hi leslie catching up on your blog, if you got your scraproom clean does that mean you will make an appearance back at CroppinParadise I miss you!!
a heart singing is such a beautiful sound, especially from inside of the attached body. =)
When reading your post for yesterday it made me think of the children's book "Alexander and the Terrible,Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day." It is one of my fav children's books and sometimes I read it when I have what I think is a bad day because it reminds me that everybody has bad days.."even in Australia." (part of the last lines of the book). Anyhow, as I read today's post I was so glad that Kevin's day was better than yesterday...and consequently YOUR day was better :-) Crossing my fingers and saying prayers that Johnny works out for a long while! Sounds like 'someone' out there might be listening....
Wow, 5 hours! That's awesome. I'm so happy for Kevin and pray that this one works out.
Doesn't it feel good to get your scrap room clean?! Mine could certainly use some help! Right now I have about a 8x8 inch space to work. lol!
I'm thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers. Take care.
