Day 931 - Dec 16, 2010

I'm going to skip again tonight. We have hit a very boring time in our lives and it's hard to come up with things to say more often than not. Lately I've been thinking about not writing every night, but this is such an integral part of our lives that I'm not sure I can do it, lol.

Still, it may happen. We are just so predictable lately (therapy, docs, walks, etc) and it has to be just as boring for you to read about it as it is for me to write about it.

What do you think? I just don't know...

Funny how in such a short period of time you've become a nightly habit ... rather like calling my sister or something, checking in with you. It is rather comforting to know that you are out there, taking things as they come in your neck of the woods, kind of a good reminder for me to take things as they come in mine ... I think you handle things, and especially story-tell about them, in such an accepting (yet not accepting of BS) way. I'm happy to read whatever happens, but certainly wouldn't begrudge you if you decided to do it less often ... but then, that's me. ;-)

I totally agree with Karen. There's not a morning that goes by that I don't think, " I wonder how Leslie and Kevin are doing?" I totally understand if this is much for you. I will read whenever / whatever you post. You have become a part of life so much when I bow my head in prayer, you are always in it. I don't think you are boring in any way and you have a way of telling your story beautifully. You are going to get even more busy with the baby coming and your adventures will continue.
Whatever you decide, I'll read (and comment). You are my constant reminder that there are good people in the world, that love is the most important thing we have in our life, and that family is so worth everything.
God bless you Leslie!

I totally agree! Every morning when I turn on my computer, I check to see what Kevin has accomplished the day before. I, too, understand if writing gets to be too much for you Leslie. With all that you already have to do, writing about it every night must seem like another chore to get done. You have to do what's best for you, I'll be here to read whatever you decide.

I agree with the last three posters. The very first thing I check when I turn on my computer is your blog, but I would understand if you skipped a few days here and there. Do what is best for you and don't worry about us. You have enough to worry about.

I think skipping a day or days is fine! The posting is about you and Kevin and not about us.

Maybe just tell us that you are skipping that day so that all of us who care about you won't worry?

Gosh, Leslie, do whatever you're comfortable with doing. We'll read when you write, share in the joys of progress, listen throughout the roughest, frustrating times and continue commenting from cyberworld. Agree with the above, this is about you and Kevin, not us.

Thinking of you all and look forward to news of a new baby boy arriving!

I don't know you or Kevin, but I read your posts every day and pray for all of you often. I never find it boring, but I certainly understand your need to take a break.

This blog is for you and Kevin, so do what's best for you. Are you worried that we're bored because there are less comments on your so-called boring days? I wouldn't worry about that. It doesn't mean we're bored it's probably more that we can't think of anything to say! LOL! You've commented before that this is your journal for you and Kevin to have in order to document this experience. It's reality. Quite frankly, we're relieved when you have a "boring" day! But, if you weren't writing, I'd be thinking, oh no, now what's happened! On the other hand, don't keep writing just for that reason if you'd really like to write every other day, or less. You certainly have enough responsibilities as it is. No matter what you decide, I'll always check in daily and comment as often as I can! You guys are like family and I talk about you and Kevin so often with my mom, we feel like we know you personally. Geez, I'm kind of choking up now!

I'll be thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers! Take care and stay in there for just a little longer, Christian!

Not boring! Not at all! Of course, take days off if you need, but even your boring days are not boring to this community of people, including strangers like me, who have come to love you, Kevin, and Breezy. I will often go weeks without checking in, but I always come back to catch up. I, for one, really appreciate your sharing the mundane along with the exciting and the difficult - it's all life, and you paint such a beautiful picture of a beautiful family.
