Today Breezy came over and stayed with Kevin while I went out with a couple of friends that were in town for the weekend. I had a great time, and I am guessing that Kevin did too playing with Christian.
I managed to snap some pictures tonight:
Honestly, don't I just have the cutest little family?
So anyway, nothing much really happened for me to talk about today. I guess I'll just sign off.

absolutely love the pictures. glad you're back and safe. that storm was wicked down there. at least you know how to drive in it. we didn't get big snow; some freezing rain; the wind has been terrible BUT Phil did NOT see his shadow. Early spring would be great! hope you're feeling a little better. it's hard (and sometimes it feels unrewarding) to do what you are doing. know that you are doing a great job for a great cause. i read your post every morning. i remember you and your family in my prayers daily. enjoy your day. christian is beautiful! thoughts and prayers from FC, PA Hallie
I can see why your little heart just swells with pride! I would too.....beautiful photos of your family!
Ooops, just looked at the superbowl score....just before the half. Not a football fan but I know you guys are. Ok,.....second half I'll root for the Steelers. :-P
This blog is dedicated to my son, Kevin, who was critically wounded in Afghanistan on May 31, 2008. My daughter, Brianna, and I left our homes and our lives to be by his side from that day forward.
Here is where you will learn of all of our accomplishments as well as the trials of his recovery of such serious injuries.
Although we have come through the acute stage of his burns, we are now focusing on the rehab for his brain injury. For those of you unaware, Kevin has lost nearly 85% of the function of the left side of his brain, causing him to not be able to do much (yet) with his right side and he can only say a few words so far. He also has to learn to write and he needs to remember everything in his past life.
Basically, we have 'started over'.
