Not too much happened today. Kevin has been nauseous most of the evening/night. I have yet to find any kind of pattern as to why some days he just vomits all over the place and then he's fine for sometimes months at a time. I suppose you could just chalk it up to TBI, but still...you'd think there would be some sort of reason. Some sort of trigger.
Other than that it was a normal day. We went to therapy and that's about it. They are really working his arm in a way no one else has ever done. I so hope it helps him to be able to move it at least a little bit.
So that's about it for today so I think I'll sign off and get to bed.
Oh and Janna - the baby is due Jan 12th. And Tracey - as far as I know, they didn't really care if it was a boy or a girl. As long as it's healthy, ya know? Anita - if there's talk of a wedding they haven't let me in on it, lol.

Greetings my dear Soldier's Mom! I just found your blog, and before I read much more (have read about 5 posts) I'll say that I have a son who is Career Army and I pray for our soldiers and for each injured soldier. Some are injured physically and some emotionally, but they are all in need of prayer and they have served and are serving our country for eons. Just think of all the soldiers that have given their lives and their lives were not in vain. My son and his wife are both Army and I am proud of them...VERY PROUD OF THEM! I would not want to live in a world where there were not police officers and soldiers. It gives me confidence that I can call 911 for help, and I know that the soldiers are on 24 hour call. Their life if not their own. God bless each and every one of them! I'll pray for your son and your family!
Cathy has said it all. God bless our soldiers and police force. Many times they are thankless jobs. We are Free because of our soldiers. Parents have every reason to be proud of these people.
Hey Leslie....this may be a dumb question....but, have any of his doctors thought of giving Kevin Zofran tablets to stop his nausea and vomiting when it happens like this? We carry this stuff in our ambulances and it works wonderfully and FAST! It just shuts down the vomiting trigger in the brain, and kind of "resets" it, and we don't get barf on our boots! We just put a 4mg tablet on the patients' tongue and let it dissolve. Good stuff.
